Moving from a stirring last release, “Alone together,” emerges a moodier secondary single by Joey Miceli. He resurfaces with a far more mature and dynamic sound, redefining the artist we have come to know and love. “Voyeur” evokes a somewhat new yet all-too-familiar feeling.

Working in collaboration with artist and producer JHype, the pair has positioned themselves as integral to one another’s creation process in releasing yet another electrifying classic. Showing off a multitude of their combined talents, this new song highlights sensual vocals charged by electronic music elements that course through your veins both vocally and in the production. The track itself is layered with sounds straight from a liminal space, while Miceli’s melodics have a truly addictive quality to them.

Drum and bass bliss undercurrents this single, inspiring feelings like you’re the main character in a movie hero's journey to the ends of the earth while aboard a sky-high bullet train. It’s the kind of song that makes life after your first listen feel utterly vacant in comparison. “Voyeur” is the pick from the playlist with infinite replayability without ever getting tired of it.

“Voyeur” inspires a creeping feeling, as if you’re nearing something at a crossroads with all eyes on you - a decision, a choice, has to be made whether to “keep running to something” or stop your mission in its tracks. The pressure is rising, you’re being watched from all corners, and you are the only one with the ability to choose. What choice would you make?

The release of “Voyeur” simultaneously marks the announcement of Joey Miceli’s upcoming EP, Tempest, slated to release on June 26th.

“Voyeur” out now.
