REVIEW: Carver Jones Paints a Dreamlike Romance with “WOMAN, MY LADY”

As his latest release, Omaha singer-songwriter Carver Jones’ “WOMAN, MY LADY” serves as an enchanting passageway to our most honest selves. It’s warm, gentle, and inspires fantastical imagination just in time for those carefree summer days. Being one of eight songs on his upcoming EP, 8, “WOMAN, MY LADY” is an addictive first look at what's to come.
The track is timeless in the way Jones speaks of romance within the people around him. It paints a picture of a classic love story filled with undeniable admiration. A tale as old as time, but one many have nearly forgotten. “WOMAN, MY LADY” redirects us to that voice in our head telling us to dance, breathe, and love. It’s effortlessly nostalgic.
